According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), there are areas which require attention when choosing your child care provider. Loving Arms™ Child Care and Preschool, is in compliance of all areas recommended by the CPSC.

Safety Compliance Criteria
Cribs
- Meet current national safety standards
- Crib slates no more than 2.4" apart
- Mattresses fit snugly

Soft Bedding
- No pillows, soft bedding or comforters are used
- Babies sleep on their backs on a firm, flat mattress

Playground Surfacing
- Safe surfacing on outdoor playgrounds
- At least 12 inches of wood chips, mulch, sand or
- pea gravel, or mats made of safety-tested rubber or
- rubber-like materials

Playground Maintenance
- Surfacing and equipment checked regularly
- Equipment maintained in good condition

Safety Gates
- Used to keep children away from dangerous areas
- Protect against falls, such as on stairs

Window Blind & Curtain Cords
- Venetians and miniblinds do not have looped cords
- Vertical blinds, continuous looped blinds and
- drapery cords have tension or tie-down devices to
- hold cords tight
- Inner cord stops have been installed
